Switching & Data Migration

Your Records Come With You.

The biggest objection to switching is fear of losing existing data. You don't have to start from zero. Here's how migration works and what you can bring forward.

01

CSV / Spreadsheet Import

Most departments have their core records in Excel or Google Sheets. We accept CSV imports for member rosters, certifications, and historical training records. Clean your export, map the columns, import.

02

Export from Other Systems

If you're currently using ImageTrend Elite, ESO Fire, Firehouse Software, or another RMS — most support data export. We'll work with whatever CSV or structured export you can produce from your current system.

Paper & Manual Records

Starting from paper binders and physical records? Phase 3 of setup covers manual data entry — members, certifications, and current gear records. Most departments complete this in 60 minutes.

Migration Process

How a Typical Migration Goes

01

Export your current data

Pull a CSV export from your current system or spreadsheet. Clean up obvious errors — duplicate entries, missing dates, formatting inconsistencies.

02

Complete Phase 1 & 2 setup

Set up your department identity, apparatus fleet, gear types, officer positions, skills catalog, and role permissions. This takes ~90 minutes and doesn't require your member data yet.

03

Import or enter members

Use CSV import for bulk member records, or enter manually. Link each member to a user account if they'll have login access.

04

Import certifications & gear

Upload certification history via CSV. Enter current gear assignments manually or via import. System begins tracking immediately.

05

Verify and go live

Run your first drill, log your first call, complete your first apparatus checklist. Verify records are created correctly. You're live.
