About Axe & Node

Built for the Fire Service.
Not a Generic Software Retrofit.

The Problem Was Clear.

Fire departments — especially volunteer and combination departments — run on institutional knowledge, paper binders, and spreadsheets that belong to the person who made them. When that person leaves, the records don't always follow.

Chiefs spend 40+ hours a month on manual compliance administration. LOSAP calculations get disputed because there's no audit trail. ISO auditors show up and departments scramble to assemble records from three different places. Members respond to scenes with expired certifications because nobody was tracking them.

These aren't capability failures. They're system failures. The fire service deserves purpose-built infrastructure — not a generic CRM with fire department fields bolted on.

Axe & Node was built from the ground up for volunteer and combination fire departments. Every module, every field, every alert was designed around how departments actually operate — not how a software company imagined they might.

How We Build

What We Stand For

🎯

Purpose-Built, Not Retrofitted

Every feature was designed around how fire departments actually operate. No generic CRM. No project management tool in disguise.

🔒

Defensible Records

Every record in Axe & Node is timestamped, source-attributed, and auditable. Your compliance documentation holds up in front of an auditor, an attorney, or a board.

Automated Where It Matters

The things that should never be manual — cert alerts, LOSAP posting, apparatus checklists — are automated from day one. You review, you don't rebuild.

📍

Documentation Support, Not Compliance Certification

Axe & Node helps you create and maintain the records that support compliance. It does not certify, guarantee, or replace the judgment of your officers, legal counsel, or oversight bodies.

🤝

Month-to-Month Accountability

No long-term contracts. We earn your subscription every month. If the platform stops solving your problems, you should stop paying for it.

🛠

Actively Developed

Axe & Node is under active development. Features are added based on what departments actually need — not a product roadmap written in a conference room.
